Liberty, License, and Divine Justice

In 1959 my Constitutional Law professor at the University of Utah told me that the only historical precedent for faith in God as part of the political fabric of the founding of this country was the Adventists who exhorted our revolutionary soldiers to lay down their arms!  While that was an exaggeration, Part I of noted Catholic attorney Christopher Ferrara’s well documented study, Liberty: The God that Failed, concludes that there is no authoritative reference to the Judeo-Christian God in our Constitution, nor in the thinking of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson or James Madison, all of whom were deists and Masons!  The reference in the Declaration of Independence to nature or nature’s god as the source of our right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness (property) is consistent with the Masonic reverence for their “great architect of the universe” which logically can mean anything you might choose to believe.  Ferrara considers this to be an affront to God.  There are credible studies of the layout of Washington D.C. and much of its architecture that support that conclusion, including the obelisk that is the Washington Monument.  





To my mind a saving grace for our country is the length to which Washington and other politicians then as now have to go to keep their theology private, out of view of the people, because at our country’s founding our people were, with few exceptions, Christian!  The degree that the statement of our current President, that this country is no longer Christian, is true, is a testament to the ongoing effort of freemasonry and others to remove the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus from the hearts and minds of our people.  An instance of this is the Masonic persecution of the Church in Mexico in the 1920’s:  http://www.forjesusandmary.org/Garabandal_Communist_Tribul.html

The words chosen by Madison to begin our constitution   ignore divine authority:


     
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Rather we the people claimed the authority ourselves to establish our new government!  Ferrara cites many who argue that slavery, the Civil War, and much in our history that is unjust resulted from the loss of the supernatural grace needed to achieve the noble agenda the fathers set for our nation, because of this grievous affront to God.  Again, a saving grace for our country is the faith in the Judeo-Christian God of those who today are in danger of becoming a persecuted minority, largely without strong, energetic and wise – faith filled – leadership.  But there is at least a partial spiritual vacuum in our country that    Lucifer has filled with a small, controlling international cabal that retired orthopedic surgeon Stanley Monteith calls out in his Brotherhood of Darkness.  Several American leaders who have experienced its evil influence in our country during the last century are quoted here:  http://forjesusandmary.org/New_Year_2014_Reality.html

Our saving grace is that the Liberty Americans of faith have worked, fought and died for is not the deistic, Masonic freedom from the Judeo-Christian God.  It is freedom within the context of our Creation, Redemption and Sanctification by a single, substantial Trinity of 3 divine persons: Father, Son and Holy Ghost.  While we respect and will not compromise our theological doctrines, we will pray and cooperate with all who share a fundamental faith in the Judeo-Christian God.  We respect those who do not have this faith.  But we must not affront God or compromise our faith or our children’s faith by leaving God out of our personal, public and civil lives, and most emphatically out of the education of our (God’s) children!  We Knights of Columbus must be justly proud of the inclusion of the words “under God” in the official “Pledge of Allegiance” of all Americans to their country, added through the courage and faith of brother Knights.  We are likewise proud of those United States bishops who joined in the solemn consecration of our country to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on August 22, 2012 A.D., and for their ongoing support of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.  The words of Jesus to His Vicar, Pope Pius XII on 9 December 1943, the day following the Feast of Mary’s Immaculate Conception are strong, and surely apply to our Holy Father, Pope Francis, and to all bishops living today, to call out evil leaders and oppose their policies and programs, even at the cost of persecution:  http://www.forjesusandmary.org/Jesus_to_His_Vicar_Call_Out.html

erty is freedom from slavery to our passions and ambitions, and to live always in God’s Divine Will, rather than the contrary license to behave without regard to Divine Justice. It is clear that our country and our world have largely chosen the license to sin and called it freedom, or self-realization; and it is just as clear from the history of salvation that such behavior calls for the intervention of Divine Justice.  Yet in the Immaculate Hearts of Jesus and Mary a plentitude of mercy remains even now…!  We must continue to pray that Pope Francis will at last obey and then receive the supernatural “Light and Truth” needed to guide the Church and the world to the true Peace of Christ, and for mitigation of the tribulation that will otherwise certainly come soon.
